PURPOSE:To optionally select car height in an autobicycle or the like, by stopping one end of a spring specifying a stroke of a shock absorber to a slidably mounted plunger. CONSTITUTION:A position detecting inner rod 11 can be slidably moved in a cylinder A to optionally change its position by operating a position change transmitting means. Accordingly, if an adjusting plate 19 is rotated, the rod 11 is rotated through an integrally fixed adjusting plug 16. If the plate 19 is stopped rotation, a stopper ball 21 is stopped to a conical groove 22 to stop the rod 11 and hold its position. In this way, if a position of the rod is set to obtain the optional car height in accordance with a preference of the driver, the fixed car height can be automatically held, and a treading characteristic can be improved by a choice of the driver and an individual difference. |
