PURPOSE:To allow a motor to coincide with the instructed speed in a short time by providing a circuit which produces a deceleration command to the motor when the speed instruction signal is compared with the rotor position detection signal of the motor so that the phase of the position detection signal leads to the instruction signal. CONSTITUTION:A speed instruction pulse signal is compared by a phase comparator 2 with a pulse signal from a frequency generator 6 which is coupled directly to a motor 5, which is controlled through a control signal converter 3 on the basis of the output of the comparator 2, the output of the comparator 2 is applied to a voltage comparator 8, which compares it with the reference voltage, and produces a deceleration signal to the motor 5 through a D flip-flop 9 and a brake circuit 10, thereby braking the motor. Accordingly, an adequate brake current is supplied to the motor 5 to decelerate the motor when the speed of the motor 5 becomes the speed higher than the instruction speed, thereby allowing the motor to coincide with the instruction speed in a short time without waiting for the natural deceleration of the speed. |
