PURPOSE:To easily join a roof panel and an outer together by providing a recessed drip channel section at both sides in the car width direction of the said roof panel and joining this drip channel section on a roof side rail outer. CONSTITUTION:A roof panel 6 is provided with a recessed drip channel section 10 at both sides in the car width direction. The drip channel section 10 is made to touch a roof side rail outer 2. Both panels are fixed to each other with a bonding agent where they do not correspond to the work hole 11 and are spot- welded 13 where they correspond to the work hole 11. As a result, aero-dynamic characteristics are improved and air cut noise is reduced. Besides, the overall strength of the joint section of the roof panel and the roof side rail can fully be ensured. |
