PURPOSE:To project characters on a view finder even during recording, by controlling a value of a termination resistor of a video signal with a character signal, decreasing the value, changing a load of a video signal output of a camera and superimposing the character signal on the video signal. CONSTITUTION:A character signal (a) from a character signal generator 9 is applied to a summing circuit 8 and a termination resistor variable circuit 13. The signal (a) is applied to a base of a transistor (TR) Q via a resistor R2 of the circuit 13, the TR Q is saturated and a resistor R1 is grounded. Thus, while the signal (a) exists, the resistor R1 is connected in parallel with a termination resistor R0, resulting in reducing the resistance. As a result, the level of the character signal component only is remarkably reduced in the video signal at a video input terminal 4. The character signal is projected in black in the view finder 6 at recording. |
