PURPOSE:To reduce the ripple current and voltage of a DC/DC converter by switching ON and OFF semiconductor switches forming a switching regulator in parallel connection in the phase difference of approx. 180 deg.. CONSTITUTION:Switching regulator circuits having semiconductor switches 12, 14, DC reactors 16, 18 having a plurality of coils, and rectifying diodes 20, 22 are connected in parallel with a DC power source 10, and a DC/DC converter is formed to obtain a DC output through a capacitor 24. The input current of one circuit is detected by a control circuit 26, thereby switching ON and OFF the semiconductor switch of the other circuit in the phase difference of approx. 180 deg.. Accordingly, the output current flowing period of the other reactor can be disposed during the pause period of the output current of one reactor, thereby largely reducing the ripple component in the DC output. |
