PURPOSE:To obtain an input/output non-insulating type switching power source capable of increasing the operating frequecy with high reliability without switching loss and with low loss by switching a sinusoidal current by utilizing an LC resonance circuit. CONSTITUTION:Series circuit having a coil 12, a transistor 13 and a capacitor 14 is connected across an input power source 1, and a series circuit having a diode 15, a transistor 16, a coil 17 and a capacitor 9 is connected in parallel with the capacitor 14. A load resistor 10 is connected in parallel with the capacitor 9. The transistors 13, 16 are driven by a control circuit 18, which alternately turns ON and OFF the transistors 13, 16 while varying the oscillating frequency to stabilize the detecting output voltage. A cycleIis represented by the period while the transistor 13 is ON and the transistor 16 is OFF, and a cycle II is represented in case of vice versa. The switching operation is composed of the cyclesI, II, thereby forming one period of the two cycles. |
