PURPOSE:To obtain a step motor having high efficiency and high reliability by composing a rotor pinion of a nonmagnetic metal material, thereby eliminating leakage magnetic flux to the pinion of a rotor magnet. CONSTITUTION:A collar 10 which bears a rotor pinion 11 is formed at a rotor arbor 5. The pinion 11 is formed of a nonmagnetic metal material such as brass or the like, and press-fitted to the collar 10 of the arbor 5. Thereafter, a magnet frame 7, a rotor magnet 6 and a magnet frame 8 are assembled in this sequence, and the magnet 6 is interposed between the upper and lower magnet frames 7 and 8 and held by the arbor 5. In this manner, the leakage magnetic flux of the magnet 6 can be reduced, thereby obtaining a step motor having high efficiency and high reliability. |
