PURPOSE:To attain profile correction without losing picture quality, by complementing the change in a momentary level of an output of a delay circuit with an output of an analog switch and sharpening the rise and fall levels of a summing output circuit. CONSTITUTION:An input signal (a) is applied to a delay line 1, a summing terminal of an addition/subtraction circuit 2 for a differential signal generation and a control signal generating circuit 3 through an input terminal IN. An output (b) of the delay line 1 is applied to a subtraction terminal of the circuit 2 and a differential signal (c), and the output of the circuit 2 is given to one input terminal of a circuit 4 via an analog switch 5. Further, in the circuit 3, the signal (a) is applied to a positive circuit 7 consisting of a full-wave rectifier circuit via a bypass filter 6 and the output is given to a monostable multivibrator 8. An output pulse (g) of the monostable multivibrator 8 is given to a control terminal of the switch 5 as a control signal, an output signal (h) of the switch 5 is summed with the output of the circuit 1 at the circuit 4 to obtain outputs having sharp rise and fall. |
