PURPOSE:To attain charatcter insertion to a video camera, by realizing a function inserting numerals and characters to a video of a camera freely by the user by means of a small scale circuit. CONSTITUTION:A reference oscillating frequency is selected four times as much as a color subcarrier and this frequency is inputted to a character generating circuit 2 as a clock of a character signal. Further, since a horizontal frequency fh is formed from the reference oscillating frequency, the horizontal synchronizing frequency is taken as a reset pulse for the circuit 2, and a character signal in synchronizing with the horizontal synchronizing signal is outputted from the circuit 2 and inputted to a mixing circuit 4 via a switch. This signal is mixed with a camera video signal and outputted as a video signal (b) inserted with the character signal. |
