PURPOSE:To achieve a better starting by making several flights of a print hammer at a distance not enough to print before the start of the printing based on a specified information in a line printer or the like. CONSTITUTION:After an initial self diagnosis is done with the power source of equipment ON or when the printing is resumed after about 15min of interruption, a print controller 1 outputs an idle information signal to open a contact 71 of a relay 7 and a waveform driving current limited with a resistance 8 is fed to a print magnet 3 to make several flights of a print hammer 5 in the range not enough to reach a paper. Thereafter, the relay 7 is re-excited to close the contact 71 and based on a group of printing information, transferred and memorized and a series of driving current is fed to a print magnet 3 to perform a printing. This improves the starting of the print hammer and an actuator thereby stabilizing the print action accurately. |
