<p>The pipework bend has an inlet (2) and an outlet (3). The outer walls (7) form a diverging/converging section and are lined with antiabrasion material (4,5). A set of deflectors is fitted around the interior of the outer wall (7). The inclined primary deflector (10) extends from the inlet and cuts partly across the bend. The secondary deflectors (11) are spaced around the outer section of the bend at decreasing angles. When the material flows through the bend the cavities (12) between the deflectors are filled with material and form an added antiabrasion protection.</p> |
