<p>The installation is based on a vehicle with its battery providing the supply and its horn and hazard flashers providing the alarm warning signal. Connections are taken from the battery terminals, the output of the flasher unit, a point between the horn and its switch, and points between the left and right flashers and their switch. These lead to a multipin plug which may be joined to a matching connector. The second connector is linked to circuitry in the building, including a double pole switch turning the device on, and switches associated with each door and window in the building. Indicator lights show the state of the circuit.</p> |
