PURPOSE:To enable to check up rapidly whether or not there is any leakage of a fluid such as a gas or city water by a constitution wherein a pulse output delivered at every prescribed flow rate corresponding to the motion of the movable part of a flowmeter is led to a timer unit, and different indications are made between a period wherein the timer unit operates and a period wherein it does not operate. CONSTITUTION:When a flowmeter 1 is made to operate for measurement by a running gas, a transmitter 2 operates for transmission to make an NAND gate 15 deliver an output ''0'' or to made an NAND gate 17 deliver an output ''1'', and thereby a light-emitting diode 20 emitting a red light is actuated. On the other hand, the transmitter 2 does not operate when there is no leakage of the gas. Accordingly, a light-emitting diode 19 emitting a green light is actuated, since the output of the NAND gate 15 turns ''1'', or sine the output of the NAND gate 17 turns ''0''. By confirming these red and green lights visually, the presence or absence of any leakage of gas can be checked up. |
