PURPOSE:To couple a metallic pipe to a metallic plate with high reliability, by providing a groove on one end of the metallic pipe by spinning, loosely inserting it into a through-hole which is burred on the metallic plate, and thereafter, putting pressure to the projecting part. CONSTITUTION:To one end of a metallic pipe 1, a groove part 1a is provided on the outside circumferential edge by spinning. On a metallic plate 2, a through- hole 2a matching the outside circumferential diameter of the metallic pipe 1 is formed by burring, and to this through-hole 2a, the metallic pipe 1 is loosely inserted so that the groove part 1a tightly adheres to the surface of a projecting part 2a of the metallic plate 2. Thereafter, a hollow punch 3 is loosely inserted from the tip of the metallic pipe 1, the end face of the punch 3 is pressed against the tip of the projecting part 2b of the metallic plate 2, and pressure is applied to its part, by which the plate of the projecting part 2b of the metallic plate 2 becomes a narrow diameter like a ring, forms a narrow diameter collar 4, and is stuck to the inside of the groove part 1a of the metallic part 1. |
