PURPOSE:To enable a highly sensitive detection of element for selected mass by scanning an ion acceleration voltage or an ion acceleration voltage and a electric field voltage in a specified section while the scanning is held for a certain time or lowered in the speed for a certain time at a voltage value corresponding to a specified mass number. CONSTITUTION:The scanning of ion acceleration voltage is done at a certain speed while held V1-V4 for a fixed time at an acceleration voltage value corresponding to a peak top of a specified mass number. This produces large peaks m1-m4 at holding points as illustrated thereby enabling a highly sensitive detection of an element for a specified mass. Thus, a wide ranging masschromatograph is obtained while a highly sensitive detection is possible in terms of any specified mass. |
