PURPOSE:To give an optical check to the press-contact state of a terminal, by giving an optical scan of axial direction to the press-contact part of a terminal press-contact electric wire and comparing the output information given from the scanning means with the information set previously. CONSTITUTION:Light is irradiated to the terminal press-contact part of a terminal press-contact electric wire 2 to be checked from a light source 3 via an optical fiber 5, and this reflected light is scanned by a photodetecting part 7a where many photodetecting elements are arrayed on the lower face of an image sensor 7 and in the axial direction of the wire 2. The output information given from the sensor 7 is led to a controller C containing a central controller CPU and a memory MEM. Then the number of data of same value are successively counted out of the binary-coded signal data detected by the controller C every time the value of data varies. These counted values are compared successively with the prescribed fixed value. From the result of this comparison, the quality is checked for the press-contact state of the terminal of the wire 2. |
