PURPOSE:To operate a correcting value against irregularity from an output difference of a height detecting sensor, and to profile exactly a butt line by correcting the irregularity, by providing a sensor for detecting a butt part, and a sensor for detecting the height of each metallic plate, on two sheets of metallic plates. CONSTITUTION:Right above the butt part of two sheets of metallic material 1a, 1b which have been butted, a sensor 2a is placed, and right above the metallic plates 1a, 1b, a pair of height detecting sensors 3a, 3b are placed. In this state, signals from the sensors 2a, 3a and 3b are processed by an operation control part 5. Susequently, signal voltage Vo from the butt part sensor 2a, and signal voltages V1, V2 from the height detecting sensors 3a, 3b are operated, and output voltage V which has corrected the quantity of irregularity and output voltage V corresponding to the average height are outputted to a profile driving part 4, by which driving motors M2, M3 are controlled. |
