PURPOSE:To perform magnetic-electrostatic recording while suppressing interference between both color pictures by employing electrostatic development for one color and magnetic development for the other color in stages of picture formation corresponding to the color pictures to be reproduced. CONSTITUTION:On a magnetic-electrostatic composite recording body 40, a signal corresponding to the 1st color signal 9 is applied to a heat head 8 to form a magnetic latent image 11. The image on the recording body 40 is developed by using toner 20 of a magnetic developing device. Then, this electrostatic latent image is developed by supplying toner by the two-component developer 24. Thus, the image developed with the two-color toner is transferred to transfer paper, etc. |
