The invention relates to a welded truss girder comprising at least one top boom and at least one bottom boom which are connected to one another by means of individual struts arranged in the form of a zigzag or sawtooth. At each node, the centroidal axes of the two mutually butting struts and of the respective boom meet at a common point of intersection. The struts are profiled bars, the ends of which are gradually deformed, in each case in a longitudinal section up to the common point of intersection, by diverging profile side edges. Known truss girders of this type have the disadvantage that the booms do not have a satisfactory buckling resistance in their longitudinal extent, and that the struts also form critical kinks in their exposed transition region from the full profile cross-section to the plane strip cross-section. The object is to provide such a truss girder in which, in particular, the buckling resistance of the booms is increased in a simple way. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the diverging profile side edges in the deformed region of the strut ends are arranged inside the boom consisting of two open or closed hollow profiles facing one another with their inner walls and are welded to said boom, and in that the hollow profiles of the boom have, at least in this height region welded to the struts, inner-wall sections inclined in accordance with the divergence of the profile side edges. The inclined inner-wall regions of the hollow profiles of the boom increase overall the buckling resistance in the boom region.
