A control loop for controlling the position of a moving part, for example the rotor of a magnetically supported flywheel is proposed. This control loop contains a sensor (5) for sensing the position, a functional network (2), a subsequent amplifier stage (3) and an electromagnetic actuator (4) which exerts actuating forces on the moving part in accordance with the sensor signals. The functional network (2) is used for linearising the relationships between coil current (i) and magnetic force (F). It forms an output voltage (U2) which is formed from the input voltage (U1) in accordance with the relation <IMAGE> where K1 and K2 represent transfer constants. <IMAGE> |
