Filtering respiratory half-mask comprising a mask element (1) with an inner filter part (2) made of plastic and glass microfibers and an outer support part (3) made from synthetic fiber fabrics with large mesh and similar configuration. Both layers are interconnected by welding or glueing, thereby forming a sealing edge (4). They are further connected by tack welding or glueing (5) at the bottom of the mask element. Pincers (6) for the nose provide for the pressure sealing around the nose. A head strap (8) is fixed to the mask element by loops (7).
