<p>The clutch device is suitable for intermittent or freewheeling operation of a vehicle and is particularly intended to prevent operating errors and lapses on the part of a driver when switching off freewheel operation. In this arrangement, a clutch lever (4) can be operated with the aid of a clutch pedal (18) and a controllable piston (6). A hand switch (21) for switching off the automatic freewheel in the open state of the clutch, which is actuated by the piston (6), does not become effective until the clutch pedal (18) is depressed and a contact (19) is closed. Only then does the control release a discharge line (9), so that the piston (6) is unloaded and can be pushed back. Due to the depressed clutch pedal (18), however, in this process the driver directly takes over the movement of the clutch lever (4) via the clutch pedal (18). The driver can then engage the clutch in the usual fashion with the aid of the clutch pedal (18). <IMAGE></p> |
