The side fitting has a pivot-bearing hinge fastened to the frame, a bearing rail mounted rotationally about the vertical axis of rotation of the wing and extending axis-parallel to the latter, and a swivel arm connected thereto so as to be pivotable about a horizontal axis. This swivel arm is connected at its other end to the side edge of the wing in an articulated manner and thereby keeps the wing in the tilted-open position. There is an espagnolette accommodated adjustably in the casement and having a bolt pin which, in the closed and turn position of the espagnolette, engages into a bolt slot present on the bearing rail and thereby couples the side edge of the wing positively to the bearing rail. So that a fitting of this type holds the window wing securely in its opened position even in the event of incorrect operation, there is between the bearing rail and the wing side edge facing it a further swivel arm, connected to the two in an articulated manner, as a so-called supporting link.
