PURPOSE:To obtain bonded pieces of raw meat having improved bonding strength at a low cost, by smearing the surface of pieces of raw meat with dried bean curd powder or starch and an alkaline earth metallic oxide powder, placing two or more pieces of the raw meat on top of each other, and bonding the pieces of the raw meat. CONSTITUTION:100pts. dried bean curd powder obtained by freezing, dehydrating, drying and pulverizing the frozen bean curd or starch is mixed with about 20-30pts. alkaline earth metallic oxide powder, e.g. calcium oxide powder or powder obtained by heating and ashing an eggshell. The surfaces of pieces of raw meat are then smeared with the resultant mixed powder in an amount of about 1-3g based on 100cm<2> surfaces, and two or more pieces are placed on top of each other and bonded preferably under pressure. Thus, the pieces of raw meat, e.g. waste pieces of meat, are used to give bonded pieces of raw meat having almost the same appearance, touch and taste as those of one piece of beef. |
