<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the enlargement and weight increase of a cylinder head by forming two air inlet ports and the cross section of an air inlet pipe leading to the air inlet ports into a nearly semicircular form. CONSTITUTION:Through two air inlet valves 6 and 7, a high-load gas intake path 8, a whole area gas intake path 9 and an exhaust valve 10 are connected with an exhaust path 11. In this case, the cross sections of the gas intake paths 8 and 9 are shaped into an almost oval-shaped crosswise long, semicircular form, having vertical partition wall 26 at its center and a closing valve 17 with a straight line along the partition wall 26. By this, the excessive part of a cylinder head can be reduced and thereby the enlargement and weight increase of the cylinder head can be prevented.</p> |
