An oscillator is proposed which consists of an amplifier arrangement, particularly a CMOS inverter (10) or an operational amplifier (20), in the feedback branch of which a ceramic filter (12) is provided as frequency-determining element. As a result, an oscillator circuit with stabilised high frequency is inexpensively constructed by means of standard ceramic filters available on the market. <IMAGE>
