In a centrifugal mill (1) with a revolving centrifuge wheel (4), rotating in a housing (2) within a grinding ring (3), having impact tool leaves (6) arranged on the peripheral side, and also with a suction pipe (10) for the comminuted ground material connected at the end to the housing, a partition (11) is arranged between the centrifuge wheel and the housing end wall (9) on the suction side, and is limited in the radial direction, with the formation of an annular gap (14). So that only sufficiently comminuted ground material is withdrawn from the centrifugal mill, the partition ends in radial extent before the leaves of the centrifuge wheel. The partition is displaceable in the axial direction with respect to the housing end wall, for the classification of the ground material. <IMAGE>
