In a boiler draught regulator, a safety thermostat is connected in series with the actual regulating thermostat. A distance piston is displaceable inside a hexagonal nipple which serves for mounting the boiler draught regulator, and interacts with a locking device which in the engaged position prevents the incoming-air flap actuated by the boiler draught regulator in the closing direction being opened again, when the safety thermostat has responded. The locking device can be disengaged via a disengaging button which is accessible from outside in the hexagonal nipple.
