An auxiliary device for the conversion of units is simple to handle, clear, and permits effortless conversion of measured units by application and reading off. According to the invention, a template consisting of transparent material is provided with at least one print for a unit to be converted, the unit sizes in each case taking up as many boxes in the scale as are necessary for the conversion in question. Preferably, a plurality of prints are provided, each of which is provided for a particular group of unit sizes.
