In this receiving station, the handshake signal is modulated onto a line network existing in a building via a resonant-circuit transformer (SÜ). On the side of the line network, the resonant-circuit transformer (SÜ) has two series-connected windings (n1, n2), one of which (n1) has a low impedance and the other winding (n2) has a high impedance. The high-impedance winding (n2) is bypassed by a contact of the relay (R) during the transmitting operation, which ensures a high-impedance coupling to the line network during the transmitting operation. <IMAGE>
