A coordinating table with a device for scanning a colour control strip printed in multicolour sheet printing along a sheet edge has, in addition to a main suction strip (13), with which the sheet is held for the scanning of the colour control strip by a measuring head traversing the latter, an auxiliary suction strip (19) which can be displaced in a groove (16) in the coordinating table (10) and can be subjected to negative pressure when the negative pressure supply to the main suction strip (13) has been switched off and allows any desired displacement of the sheet within certain limits so that said sheet can be aligned with alignment marks (24) on the coordinating table (10) with counter-marks situated at the sheet edge and aligned towards the colour control strip and then sucked firmly against the coordinating table (10) with the aid of the main suction strip (13) for the scanning operation of the traversing measuring head. <IMAGE>
