The invention indicates an arrangement for connecting waveguides to one another without screws. In this case, contact elements engage in the ends of the waveguides and are there pressed against the waveguide internal wall via springs, in each case by tapering sleeves, such that they make contact. The contact pressure of the tapering sleeves is applied by a clamping element which can be driven into the arrangement between the waveguides from the butt joint.
