Sheeting basket for the sheeting of a duct trench

Sheeting baskets for the continuously progressive sheeting of duct trenches generally consist of two rigid formwork walls which are held at a distance from one another and can be pushed through the earth via hydraulic cylinders. When the formwork walls are pushed through the earth, complicated and usually not very effective supporting devices have to be provided in order to avoid sinking of the sheeting basket at the front side. The invention shows a constructive way of avoiding this sinking. This is achieved by the formwork walls being divided in the longitudinal plane and being connected merely via guides and by double-acting hydraulic cylinders being arranged between these formwork walls. <IMAGE>
