The energy-recovery unit has two sets of separated passages formed by flat plates alternating with corrugated ones, sealed together by elastic material along the edges. The corrugated plates have flat portions allowing the media to spread in the transverse direction, while at the ends they are bent upwards and downwards for alternate halves so as to form the flat plates above and below. - The flat plates can be of ceramic, allowing transmission of air humidity from one set of passages to the other. |
