<p>PURPOSE:To reduce exchange time by using the 1st and 2nd holding frames provided on a cassette carrying means so as to hole a cassette respectively thereby replacing the cassette at one reciprocation operation of a carrying means. CONSTITUTION:The carrying device 14 is moved up to a position of a disk cassette 10 designated by a storage section 13, a cassette 10 is fetched to, e.g., the 1st disk cassette holding frame 71 of a 2-consecutive carrying frame 59 to move the cassette to the position of the designated optical disk device 3. The device 3 ejects the cassette 10 during that time. In fetching the cassette 10 ejected from the device 3 to the 2nd disk cassette holding frame 72 of the frame 59, the carrying device 14 moves the cassette 19 of the cassette holding frame 71 to a position to be loaded to the device 3 and the cassette 10 is loaded to the device 3. Then the carrying device 14 is moved in front of the storage section 13, the cassette 10 is stored in the home position and then the exchange is finished.</p> |
