PURPOSE:To perform the diagnosis of a microcomputer in detail and accurately, by giving the control right of a microprocessor to a diagnosis program which is written to a shared RAM of the microcomputer from outside. CONSTITUTION:A main body device 1 writes a diagnosis program to a data buffer of a shared RAM4, a JUMPRAM1000 command to a command register and a prescribed code to a start flag register respectively. An idle routine stored in an RAM6 checks the contents of a start flag register while a command processing routine is not executed. The contents of a command register are read out in case no prescribed code is written, and the control right is transferred to the corresponding command processing routine. Therefore the unconditional branching is given to an address 1000 of the RAM4 by the JUMPRAM 1000 command. Then the data of the address 1000 is executed as an instruction. |
