摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a plant fault diagnosing device which is applicable even in a transient state, by using the output of a detector group to estimate the state quantity on the basis of a dynamic characteristic model and comparing the estimated state quantity with the output of the corresponding detector to detect and diagnose a fault. CONSTITUTION:Detectors 3a and 3b and 5a and 5b detect the state quantity of input and output sides 2 and 4 respectively of a plant device 1 to be diagnosed. Then signals 7a and 7b and 8a and 8b are fed to a model arithmetic device 17, and the dynamic characteristics of the state quantity is calculated by means of plural models to deliver state quantities 18a-18c. A fault detector 19 compares the state quantities 18a-18c with corresponding signals 9a-9c that detected 6a-6c the state of the plant 1 and delivers a logical signal 20 if it detects 19 a fault. A logic arithmetic device 21 decides a faulty detector from the pattern of the signal 20. Then a result 22 of diagnosis is displayed 15. As a result, a fault is detected accurately even in a transient state.
