PURPOSE:To obtain a private branch telephone set with improved speech quality, by attenuating high frequency characteristics of a handset when calling is performed in a less line-loss state. CONSTITUTION:A transmission characteristic compensating circuit TCM is interposed behind a transmitted signal amplifier TRA. The capacitor C of this TCM circuit attenuates a high frequency component. The value of the capacitor is selected according to the kind of the handset and the characteristics of the transmitted signal amplifier TRA. Consequently, the output of the circuit TCM has the amplitude of high frequency decreased and in case of a talk with another telephone set, an easy-to-hear voice is obtained. |
