PURPOSE:To obtain a short backfire antenna which is easily manufactured and has a feeding system of simple structure by printing a feeder spirally on a dielectric substrate. CONSTITUTION:A two-wire type circular spiral 11 is printed on the dielectric substrate 10 and a small reflecting plate 6 is supported by a dielectric rod 7 provided on the substrate 10. The two-wire type circular spiral 11 is positioned at the feeding point of the antenna consisting of a large reflecting plate 1, a side plate 2, and the small reflecting plate 6 and excited from feeding terminal couples A and B in out-of-phase relation through a coaxial plug 13 and a coaxial line 12 to radiate a circular polarized wave from the antenna. |
