PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of a cavity on a coupling surface between a two-color molding case and the side wall of a tape cassette even if a burr is generated on the coupling surface and to improve the quality of a product by chamfering the coupling surface. CONSTITUTION:At the molding of an opaque part 5, the inside 31 of a sliding die 23 is abutted with a molding cavity surface 33 of a fixed die 19 and a cavity 27 closed by the fixed die 19, a movable die 21 and the sliding die 23 is packed with a plastic material to form the opaque part 5. Then, the sliding die 23 is receded from the molding cavity surface 33 of the fixed die 19 to a position forming a cavity 25 for forming a case transparent part 3 and the cavity 25 is packed with a transparent plastic material to form the transparent part 3. Since the coupling surface 9 of the wall 5 of the tape cassette is molded so as to be chamfered, a burr 16 generated at the time of molding is not projected to the upper part of the coupling surface 9, so that the quality of the product can be improved. |
