<p>Device for processing signals received by a high-frequency active sonar, which sends an oblique beam of acoustic waves to the bottom of the sea. Channels are formed in azimuth and each channel signal Sv is applied after detection to two integrators (41,42), the one (41) integrating over the period of transmission of the signal TE, and the other (42) integrating over the shadow period T, which are produced by an object placed at the bottom of the sea. The output signal S is either the signal integrated over TE, SE or the signal integrated over T, ST, switching being performed by comparison of the signal Sv with the noise signal B.
