MOLDING STRUCTURE FOR CAR

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a clear recognition of the exsistence of a car during a night time parking by furnishing a surface-luminous body with the luminous face faced to the outside of the car body inside a molding main body fixed on the outer panel of the said car body. CONSTITUTION:A guard mould A adhesively fixed on an outer panel B of a car body along a proceeding direction by a double-coated adhesive tape 1 contains a molding main body 2 molded by resin with a C-shaped section. This molding main body 2 is constructed to hold in its inner hollow space a transparent cover 4 in a reverse C-shape made of a rigid transparent material such as acrylic resin or the like and a built-in surface luminous body, that is, an electroluminescence element 6 surrounded by a reinforcing board 5 to be fixed in a liquid- tight state at the opening ends 4a and 4b of the said cover 4. This construction permits to indicate a parking of the car by adding an AC voltage on the above- described element 6 for emitting light at the time of night parking.
