PURPOSE:To obtain a cathode-ray tube for a light source, which causes a small gap between the center of a fluorescent screen and the center of the emission, by providing a high-voltage-application lead wire with a circular conductor, the center of which corresponds to the center of a current-controlling electrode, in such a manner that the circular conductor is provided between said current-controlling electrode and a conductive film which is fixed on the inner wall of the cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire 8 is provided with a circular lead wire 10, the center of which corresponds to the center of the hole of the first grid 2, in such a manner that the lead wire 10 is located between the first grid 2 and a conductive film 5 which is fixed on the inner wall of the cathode-ray tube. An electric field 9 formed between the first grid 2 and the conductive film 5 conventionally was not symmetrical relative to the hole of the first grid 2 due to the influence of the lead wire 8 for high-voltage supply. However, owing to such a constitution as above, an electric field 9 which is almost symmetrical relative to the hole of the first grid 2 can be formed between the first grid 2 and the circular lead wire 10 which is provided in the middle between the first grid 2 and the conductive film 5. Consequently, due to the circular lead wire 10, the influence of the high-voltage lead wire 8 can be almost completely removed. |
