PURPOSE:To improve a cooling effect, by differently forming a dimensional shape of balance holes in a pair of the first stage discs placed at a face-to-face position to each other in a double flow axial turbine. CONSTITUTION:Balance holes 5a, 5b are provided to the first stage discs 4a, 4b, and labyrinth packings 7a, 7b mounted to the first stage nozzle inner wheel 6 are located at a face-to-face position in the radially outside of said holes. Size of the holes 5a, 5b is formed different to decrease pressure in a space 8 lower than pressure in a space 14a. In this way, a flow in one-way is generated in the space 8. |
