PURPOSE:To provide the titled film composed of specific two kinds of recurring units, having excellent mechanical properties and thermal properties, exhibiting excellent film-forming property on an industrial scale and suitable for electrical insulation, packaging or inner packaging over film, base for magnetic recording material, photographic film, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective film is composed of the recurring units of formulas I and II [X is group of formula III-VI (R is alkyl); Y is H, alkyl, nitro, phenyl, alkoxy or halogen; n is 0-5; Y is substituent group other than H when n is 0] wherein the amount of the recurring unit of formula I is 70-90mol% based on the sum of the recurring units of formula I and formula II. The melting point of the copolymer is preferably >=255 deg.C. |
