PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording carrier capable of recording information with a low power, by providing a metallic thin film on a substrate forming track guide grooves in advance and providing a recording thin film consisting of a light absorbing body and a polymer binder on the metallic thin film. CONSTITUTION:On an acrylic substrate 1 processed with track guide grooves 1a of 0.1mum depth on the surface, a Bi layer functioning as the metallic thin film 2 is formed in 200Angstrom thickness by vacuum deposition, and the solution where a metallic complex salt serving as the light absorbing body and a nitrocellulose serving as a binder are dissolved in a ketone solvent in the ratio of 1:1 is spin- coated in the number of revolutions of 3,000rpm, to form a recording thin film 3 of 6,000Angstrom thickness on the film 2. As the result of recording with a medium applying power of 8mW by using the disc thus manufactured, pits 4 are formed over the films 3 and 2 as shown in a figure. |
