PURPOSE:To eliminate the problem of sinkage at the rear body of a motorcycle and the like at the time of their starting, by making up a cushion device with two hydraulic cylinders to be connected via an oil passage, while opening a solenoid valve in the oil passage in time of a speed change gear shifted to the first gear and then rendering the cushion device nonoperational. CONSTITUTION:A cushion device body 1 is constituted that the upper side of its cylinder 2 is attached to the frame topside of a motorcycle and the lower part of its piston rod 3 to a rear wheel supporting swing arm respectively, while the second cylinder device 8 is attached to the rear of the device body 1. In this case, an oil chamber C of the cylinder device 8 is interconnected with another oil chamber A of the cylinder 2 via a valve element 12 of a solenoid valve 11 and a pipe 10. And, in time of starting, a speed change gear is in the state of a first gearshift so that a main switch 25 and a switch 24 are both closed, energizing a coil 23 of a driving part 20 with a continuous rating current and seating a valve body 15 in a valve seat via a plunger 17; thus the solenoid valve 11 is made open. In this way, chambers A and C are intercepted to eliminate the buffer action. |
