PURPOSE:To make recompiling and so n accompanied by the modification of display data unnecessary by storing display data and the position of data to be inserted into said display data in a storage means and activating an I/O control means which reads the storage means in a user program and controls and output. CONSTITUTION:A computer 1 executes the user program, and activates the I/O control means 5 when it outputs data to an I/O device 2. The I/O control means 5 starts its action by the activation from the computer 1, and reads the display data in the 1st storage means to store plural pieces of display data and field information stored in the 2nd storage means 4. Then data inputted from th I/O device 2 is inserted at the position of the display data specified by the field information, and outputted to the I/O device 2.
