PURPOSE:To reduce consumption of battery power supply, by switching the battery power supply for a miniaturized VTR to an AC power supply device of an adaptor when both devices are coupled, in a device coupling the miniaturized VTR and the adaptor (floor type VTR) attachably and detachably. CONSTITUTION:Figure shows a power supply switching device, figures A,B,C are examples of turning on of a changeover switch accompanied with the connection of a connector 8 of the miniaturized VTR and a connector 32 of the adaptor, figures D,E,F are those of turning off. Figure A shows the state that the miniaturized VTR1 is not loaded to a adaptor 23. In loading the VTR1 to the adaptor and connecting the connector as shown in figure B, the contact of the switch S1 is closed by the connectors 32 and 8, a relay R is activated as shown in figure C, the switch S2 is changed over and the power supply to the VTR1 is switched from the battery power supply to the AC power supply at the adaptor side. In figures D,E,F, the switch S3 is turned off by the connection of the connectors, the battery supply to the VTR1 is interrupted and power is applied from the AC power supply at the adaptor side via the connectors 8 and 32. |
