PURPOSE:To attain accurate and easy tracking of an information signal, by forming a heat-resistant resin on a glass substrate, providing a groove of tracking to the resin, and forming an optical recording thin film on the groove. CONSTITUTION:In a figure, 1 is the glass substrate and 2 is a heat-resistant resin layer. Acid anhydride and diamine are subjected to ring-opening polyaddition in a solvent such as methylacetoamide to form polyamide carbonic acid, this solution is coated on the substrate 1, the coated film is heated and dehydrated at 300 deg.C to form a polyimide layer as a heat-resistant resin layer 2. Further, a tracking groove 3 is formed on the polyimide layer 2 by using laser light concentrically or spirally. In this case, in coating the solution at the polyimide formation, when a light absorbing agent in response to the wavelength of the laser light is incorporated in the solution, the tracking groove formation is made possible with lesser laser light output. An optical recording thin film 4 is formed on the substrate by sputtering or vapor-deposition. |
